As another holiday season has come and gone, Alex Moving & Storage would like to take time to reflect on the past year and what we've done to give back to our community. The week before Christmas, we held an event where our Orange County moving company handed out boxes of canned food, blankets and other products to the homeless and needy families. The Feeding the Homeless and Needy event took place on December 18, 2010 and drew more than 600 people. Our shuttles moved people back and forth from our warehouse, where our staff handed out 400+ moving boxes filled with canned food, pineapples, rice, beans and other staples as well as 250+ blankets.

The Foundation Yanga-Veracruz USA provided bilingual entertainment at the event in the form of songs, sketch comedy and skits. Overall, the Feeding the Homeless and Needy event was a complete success, and we are happy to give back to the Orange County community. We hope everyone had very Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year!
