The Relocation Process
The Long Beach movers of Alex Moving & Storage started the project by entering the old Campus Store location, evaluating the items within it and providing the college with an estimate of costs. From there, they got to work, organizing the books by subject and packing them into labeled boxes. Once all of the books were off the shelves and securely packed away, they began to work on the shelving and furniture within the store. Through their years of on-the-job experience and training, they effectively transferred everything to our warehouse without a scratch.
At our storage facility, the safely unloaded the items and placed them within. Because this warehouse is equipped with advanced security features, all items were safe until it was time to move them to the new location. When that time came, our team loaded everything into the truck and drove out to the new Long Beach City College Campus Store. With efficiency and accuracy, our movers reassembled and installed all book shelving and furniture in the building, and set up the new Campus Store’s equipment and inventory. In no time, the job was complete and the students of Long Beach City College were able to purchase books once again.
