In the summer of 2014, the Assistance League of Santa Ana launched the first-ever “Best Taste of Santa Ana” event. Because it’s supported by the mouth-watering delicacies of the area’s best restaurants, a successful turnout wasn’t unexpected. But who knew it would develop into an annual event?

Now, with the Third Annual Best Taste of Santa Ana nearly here, we’re happy to announce some of the best eateries in Santa Ana and nearby communities are taking part in the festivities. Serving everything from sweet to savory, the festival gives you the opportunity to whet your palate with exotic appetizers; satisfy your appetite with samples of Santa Ana staples; and delight in the finest desserts. Once you’ve eaten your fair share of decadent eats, wash it all down with a selection of fine California wines and other beverages.

Featured restaurants include Kutzi, The Robbin’s Nest, Scoops, Original Mike’s Crave, Ritter’s, The Olde Ship, Lucille’s Smokehouse, Oli’s Bakery, Bell Marri’s, Polly’s Pies, Velvet Lounge, Portola, The Gypsy Den, El Calamar and more.

Tickets are on sale online with the opportunity to purchase entry tickets, drink tickets, and unlimited drink wristbands at the door. This year’s event will feature a silent auction and a raffle, so you can enjoy a bit of entertainment to complement your meal.

Your participation also means contributing to a good cause. Proceeds from the ticket sales, silent auction, and raffle benefit the Assistance League of Santa Ana, a charitable organization that has been organizing this fun-filled event since the beginning. The Assistance League is dedicated to supporting the community by fundraising and donating to programs that provide access to healthcare, school supplies, scholarship, mentoring and other uplifting services to local families in need.
