We would like to congratulate the next employee of the month for our Orange County moving and storage company – Amy Ramirez. As a long-term dedicated employee, she has spent many years growing with us and supporting our many happy moving and storage customers.

Spotlight On: Amy Ramirez

Amy Ramirez began her journey with Alex Moving & Storage on August 31, 1998 just before her 21st birthday. She began as an assistant to the person who calculated the charges for the Interstate Moves. Fast forward almost 20 years and Amy is still going strong in the moving industry.

Not only did she ultimately replace the person she assisted but she gained much more responsibility through her eagerness to want to learn and grow with Alex Moving & Storage. Currently, Amy is responsible for clerical aspects of local, interstate, international and NTS operations, collections, auditing of NAVL statements, local billing of our national accounts and our Interstate Contractors payroll. She is well-versed in many aspects of our moving and storage company and is typically able to assist in other areas when needed.

Through the years, Amy has essentially grown up with our Orange County moving company. Our team has watched her experience many firsts in her life, such as becoming a new mommy… twice!

Her greatest joys are her two daughters Laisha who is 14 and Savannah who is almost 2. Amy enjoys spending her free time with her daughters.  They are all big Disney fans and spend many hours enjoying their annual passes to Disneyland.

She is also the ultimate Los Angeles Dodgers fan; she even recently got a new Dodgers tattoo to add to her tattoo collection. Amy looks forward to her future with Alex moving & Storage continuing to help us grow and evolve as a company. We look forward to continuing to foster her growth in the moving industry.
